ATP (Authorized Trading Partner)
Licensed, authorized supply-chain counterparty
An Authorized Trading Partner (ATP) is a licensed entity authorized to distribute or dispense prescription drugs under DSCSA—manufacturers, repackagers, wholesalers, and dispensers with valid state and federal credentials.
Trading partners must transact only with other ATPs. Partner authorization workflows map authorized GLNs and license data to inbound EPCIS and outbound ship destinations.
NABP Pulse provides a directory and API ecosystem for ATP verification and regulator communications. DSCSA compliance still requires interoperable EPCIS exchange with authorized partners.
